The files below are drafts of music in the progress of being developed for the opera, Marie's Orchard. Therefore, please be aware that these are NOT to be considered completed musical pieces, but rather, are drafts to allow you to review the materials in order to provide feedback to me during the composition process.

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

            To listen to an MP3 audio file directly on your computer, click on the file name in the LEFT HAND COLUMN. These files are medium quality, 128-bit MP3s. When you click on the file name, a new window will open and the file will begin to play automatically. If the file fails to play, please contact me (see below for contact information). When you are finished, simply close the new window. If you wish, you may return to this page while the file is playing.

            The RIGHT HAND COLUMN lists files that are high quality, 320-bit MP3s. These files are suitable for downloading and burning to a CD or uploading to an iPOD or other MP3 player. In order to reduce their size, the files are in a compressed (zipped) format. To download a file, click on the file name and follow the prompts to save it to your hard drive. After the file has downloaded, locate the folder on your hard drive and double click it to open the MP3 file itself. You can then listen to the audio file on your computer, burning it to a CD, or upload it to an MP3 player.

            Also in the RIGHT HAND COLUMN are PDFs of the score that can be downloaded in the same manner for your review. These files also are in a compressed (zipped) format, so they need to be downloaded to your hard drive and opened from there.

            PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE ANY OF THESE AUDIO FILES OR ANY COPIES OF THE SCORE TO ANYONE WITHOUT MY PRIOR EXPLICIT PERMISSION.
